Summer Heat.
All hail the summer! Praise the sun!
The heat today, although verging on unbearable, totally lifted my mood!
Man the rush of vitamin D feels good. The long awaited summer is finally looking up.
4 more weeks and I’m done for the summer. No more nagging teachers, no more books, no more sleeping on desks just waiting for the day to be over.
The summer’s my sanctuary. My escape from reality. You have 6 weeks to forget school, Let the dust settle on any feuds or arguments and just really be yourself; not just another clone in a school uniform.
You can be away from those people that you just can’t stand for six whole weeks; and by the time you return, things have sorted themselves out, you either forgive and forget or move on with your lives. and if you do neither of those things, you at least have a break from the fighting.
Although I’m apprehensive about the new year and what it may hold for me, I’ve also never been so excited. I finally start my GCSE’s and start the serious stuff. The stuff that could change not only me as a person, but my entire future.
Everyone will be to busy for pathetic arguments and constant bitching. We’ll all finally be able to just focus on our GCSE’s and embark on the long and blury journey to our future.
But untill then, Bring on the summer!
I can almost picture it now, lemonaide, sunglasses, sea salt and natural curls.
I hope summer lives up to the hopes I have for it.
